You're right. It wasnt thought out at all. Dont worry, I'm not tied to any of those ideas particularly. I happen to think the Fatboy is really good as it is.
However I just wanted to steer the discussion down another route to see where it leads. It happens to be a dead-end. Nevermind.

I agree with you, I saw some other experimentals killed by tac missiles as well. But, honestly, due to the huge hitbox of the Fatboy, the problem is that even if you spot the missiles flying towards the Fatboy, you have not much time to move it away entirely, and the best you can hope for is that only the shield wil be downed. It's really easier to snipe a Fatboy just because of its design, and that's why a couple TMD could help it to be less vulnerable (it would still be possible to snbipe it, but you would require more missiles) to such threats.

But frankly, Novax needs love first.

Fatboys are quite fast. IIRC they can outrange and out run a Monkeylord.

I think overall that perhaps you should consider changing the way you use the Fatboy rather than try to change the fatboy to suit the way you want to use it.

If you're going to add it, I'd say add it to the Titan (currently the weakest Siege assault bot). Or otherwise: definitely move the sparky to T3.

I meant TML.
And: whats the point of keeping it moving if it still gets hit? Wasn't it the point that you can hit a moving Fatty with TML if you have just the slightest bit of Aim`?

Thats a good one! But isnt it too powerful? On the other hand Cybran T3Bots have TMD too. But the Sparky is T2. Maybe moving him up to T3 if he gets worthwhile TMD? Or giving TMD to a T3 Unit?

In most games, there are 0 TMDs defending a fatty and many shooting at it (potentially).

Even with 2 buzzkills on the top of it, the fatty will still get killed unless you keep it moving. I think adding TMD is cool, but won't change a heck of a lot. I would still escort with parashileds and flak.
