If you make scouts more expensive, I'll simply switch to ASF instead. Now we have another unit no one will build. Buffing spy planes would be next to pointless as they're built to be disposable. Scouting is *supposed* to be that easy - increasing it's difficulty will lead to worse gameplay if people are now afraid of scouting too much and "wasting" too much resources on it.

On another note: Real Life != Supreme Commander. Keep in mind we're talking about a game that takes place in the 31st century, with giant robots fighting each other. Comparisons of "but XYZ is like ABC in real life!" have no place here... :P

if you are reasonably sure there is no nuke after scouting you can spend money into staging an attack instead of a nuke-defense, right?

Spying is too easy you think? There's at those day no players scooting perfectly, so if not even top3 players don't manage to do it, why do you want to make it even harder and expensive?

This idea sounds really senseless to me...
And i really don't think T3 air fac is so cheap...

I dont think scouting is cheap. Its primary not the ressources, its the managing. A bad player never will scout. He does not understand that he must do it. An average player (like me maybe) would know that scouting is very important, but ingame he often forgets to do it, while focused on other things. A good player never forgets to scout.

Maybe slow T3 scouts down a little bit, so you can intercept them easier.

imho the T3 spy plane is a bit too good.
Make like 10 of them and spy a whole
10x10 or even 20x20 map. It shows you
everything an enemy does.
Also Spy planes are fast and hard to intercept.

This means that there is almost no
element of surprise. This leads to more
(especially on 20x20+ maps) eco-build
type matches.

I wonder, without suggesting to change anything,
would gameplay not be more fun if T3 spy planes
are like a T3 ASF+omni ?
