Here are a few tips:
- t3 Nova hovertanks seem to be weak but it's a very versatile unit, very fast, quite sturdy, with a medium/long range AOE weapon. It's particularly efficient against mixed armies (t1+t2+ a few t3) and on water.
If you face only t3 heavy units, better back them up with Beamers though.
- Crawler is good for long range assault but quite slow. You can mitigate that by using the T4 air transport and take the opponent by surprise.
- Crawler default weapon has homing missiles that are great against t3 / t4 units, but weak against TMD and shields. To overcome TMD and shields, use bombard mode to fire twice the number of missiles but with no homing.
- Beamer is the anti experimental unit. It's weak by itself but you can almost build 2 for the price of a Monkeylord.
- Beamer can be used for t4 Ghetto gunship! Use this if you have air superiority.
- Bullfrog is a versatile unit ; it is great against mixed armies but can do well against Experimentals. If you face a base or a lot of units / shields, use bombard mode, but if you are facing another experimental go in range of the front weapon and use default weapon mod (never use bombard mode against isolated or sparse targets). Also, Bullfrog and Crawler can destroy units and structures by hovering on their face ;-).
- SCU can be good units to escort a t3 / t4 army, reclaim wrecks along the way, establish firebases, etc.
- T3 gunships have low armor but very good DPS
- T3 bombers have low damage but very big AOE
