It's the 31st century, and the backback not only costs more than a T3 pgen but is attached to an ACU that's powered by a nuke. Therefore:

This needs Fixed ASAP! When you get RAS upgrade your ACU should look like it has a T3 Power Strapped to its back!

The other guy in chat proposed that RAS opens up a tiny wormhole through which you suck mass/energy from off planet... whereas pgens produce it locally.
