Since then I have pined for my loss, and now finally, four years on from the last game I played, I finally have enough cash together to get myself a decent PC!
I played on GPGNet under the name Roho-S, but you probably won't remember me as I was never better than average. Now that I've got four years' worth of refinements to catch up on too, you'll probably see me at the bottom of the rankings very soon. 
The main reason I wanted to make this post (other than that I'm as excited as a five-year-old on Christmas Eve), is to say a massive thanks to Ze Pilot and Gowerly for making this a possibility: when I found out recently that GPGNet was no more I felt as if my dream had died, but you guys (and any others I haven't mentioned who have contributed) have made me very, very happy indeed.
