Yea it only depends on the mass value it costs to create the unit. Upgrades don't affect it.

I think the latter, you could probably try sandboxing this and finding out for yourself.

So I know that if you make a base sACU as Aeon and get the sacrifice upgrade as well as the teleport, the amount of mass sacrificed is just the mass value of the base sACU. If you make the pre-made sACU with teleport and shields and all, then get the sacrifice, the mass will be what it cost to get in the quantum gate way.

My question is does the amount of mass required to repair the sACU change with upgrades, or is it also only based off of the mass required to build it in the first place? I don't intend on repairing my sACU or ACU, I'm just trying to figure out the mechanics to know how to design a mod I'm thinking of making.
