I would be nice to know how the council is actually going to display the PC winner. i think for transparency it would be nice to see how many votes each player received by the community during the Election period.

Yep, especially GW. I remember the good GW times: different maps, nice cooperation in chat. Even if you don't like the map, you have to play it because "We need THIS planet bois". If someone has free time and knows Java - go and help Brutus

After reading in another post about all the fuzz about the voting, I stumbled upon the word count of the applications.

Then I got an eMail where I can vote a counselor. But there was not any link to the application included.
Me, being very busy with other stuff, am not aware of who those applicants are.
Now I would ask polite: Where can I read those applications?

I mean, in these days, noone is reading the stuff a political party is writing down. Maybe because they do not even think of doing what they promised before the election.
Here, I do hope the elected counselor is doing what he wrote, so I would take the time and read something about all those people that we can vote.

For me this is the major issue with faf at the moment. Whenever I look at the play tab, I see crap maps being hosted. The vault is full with beautiful maps, yet the vast majority of games is being played on this. It is such a shame to see that. Some mapmakers didn't even bother to put textures on the map.

cough...Matchmaker...cought...Galactic war...cough...Featured maps tab...Empty hosts with featured maps...

Plenty of options to encourage people to play proper maps along with unranking non-featured maps; unranking everything exept Matchmaker; hiding/deleting astrocrap from vault.

From what i can tell, Ftx had solid point on this subject and i'd vote for him if it wasn't about his personality.

Not entirely sure, but using the rating manipulation method - among other things - is pretty much the opposite of what a player councillor should be.

There will be no correction. FTX have been removed from the applicant pool behind our backs just today. As such the only option is to either hold off your vote or to vote for the aussie with attitude a.k.a Biass.....
