Once upon a time there was a suggestion to give UEF ACU a lategame Upgrade like a T4 Engi Suite with ~300-400 Buildpower in order to make a strong "Proxybase"-Builder. Has to be balanced well though, cause with that BP it would be able to erect a base that can defend against any counterattack via air/land very fast. Like now its more used like like "build and flee". Then it could be "build and fight". In Comparsion to Cybran where Telemazer is direct Assault this would be something else.

I'd like to see that. Ravager Creep from behind into enemys mainbase

All of teleport has suffered in the last charge time change, but Aeon and UEF have always been the worst because there is no direct attack. If you can find a spot that is not covered by enemy radar or vision, then you can safely teleport, build a stealth generator, and then a TML base, or even a bunch of land factories, but then you'd need your opponents to be lazy for a lot longer.

If all places are covered by radar, you'd have to build a stealth generator immediately, then a land factory or the TML (depending on how risky you want to be). Teleport out right after that and get those tac missiles built. If you build a T1 land factory you can go back home way earlier (the land fac needs 3 seconds to be built) but your stuff there will spend much longer building because your ACU has gone home.

Can anyone point me to a tactical usage of UEF Teleport on the ACU? I fail to see any point of this ability, especially on the back, where it takes the place of the shield.

I mean - so far the only use of it I had is for giggles when I know I am going to lose. Teleporting into someone's base is a sign of a final FU :>

I tried to tele somewhere, build some Ravagers and tele back, but without shields, you can imagine how that went.
