The GC thing may be a glitch but I find the fix not good looking at all. That sort of looks like a purple broomstick sweeping across the field rather than an actual laser. Same for the napalm. Is it a glitch? Oh well but the darkness in the middle of the fire for sure did look nice.

Hi. I guess to each their own. Personally, I didn't like seeing the blocky darkness within the fire.

I take it this means that you've also seen such graphics glitches yourself. Do you recall others mentioning this as well or did you yourself mention these glitches to others?

Huh looks cool, nice work.

What was the problem and how do you fixed it?

The problem is that many of the SC-FA effects are glitch when you observe the action from different non-standard viewing angles and from far distances. Many people who play the game from the standard above viewing angle perspective and closeup distances will never even notice how glitchy the graphics effects are.

The fix is to replace the glitchy effects with non-glitch ones (there aren't that many to choose from).

In a thread on GPG's message board, I presented links to a number of short videos that I made illustrating these glitches as well as my ongoing fixes to them.

The glitches are only apparent when one views the action from a certain angle perspective and distance.
