Must be, but they dont.

I have "My Games" folder written in inglish, but SC use another one written in russian. Possibly this is result of localization.

There is no such folder in Windows XP
But there 2 folders created by FAF:
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\FAForever" - there bin, gamedata and other folders.
"C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Local Settings\Application Data\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance" - there FAF cache folder

Windows create this folder and set this name, not me. I cant rename this folder.

'My Games' must be written in English.

Patches are stored in C:/ProgramData (This is a hidden folder, you will need to make hidden folders visible)/FaForever and are mounted using the executable in /Bin. There is no need for you to interact with the patch file as it should all be automatic.

There are many causes of Desync. Version inconsistancy is one, but also map differences and any extra .SCD files in C:/Program Files/THQ/Gas Powered Games/Supreme Commander Forged Alliance/Gamedata

You must remove any custom SCDs, such as Sorian's AIs, from this folder to avoid Desyncs.

You should never ever use things like ,;:[]'@" in folder or file names, and especially not . as the system now thinks this folder is a file of unknown type, I expect.

As I wrote here, when i join any new map faf download. But when i join game it says "map is missing".

Also i got folder in My Documents
"C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Мои документы\Мои игры\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance"
As you see "My Games" written in russian "Мои игры". And and there are my save files, replays and screenshot folders. In other words my game use this path. So FAF use wrong path in my case. I try to copy maps to this folder, but game still cant find it. Only way to make it work - copy maps to "F:\GAMES\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance\maps"

But there is still one more problem. Desync. Looks like Im using wrong patch. The patch must be in
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\FAForever"
Right?
As you see there no any foreign characters. But there dot in folder name "All Users.WINDOWS". I know that in some programs It may cause problem.

We use the standard fa paths for maps, using others will only bring problems.

Well, i dont know why, but faf use this path for maps:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Мои документы\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Maps"[/quote]

It's the path FA use.

Well, i dont know why, but faf use this path for maps:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Мои документы\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Maps"
And this for other files (bin, gamedata and other):
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\FAForever"
I dont know how to change this.

Im use Windows XP, there no UAC. I want download mods on another disk.

I can log in, download all files and enter game lobby. But game cant find downloaded maps and patchs. So it ay map massing, or i desynced if join some standart maps. Most likely this is cause the path where FAF place files. But I cant test this, cause there no such option like "change path".
FAF use 3 different folders for itself, for data/patch files and for maps. Why? What if i want download all maps to my game folder, to use them not only in FAF. Or if i dont want to download mods on my system disk.

Add this option plz.
