There is a huge silent majority out there who appreciate everything you've done to keep this great game alive.

I'm a regular enough player, browse the forums quite a bit and generally just enjoy playing,and I'm not the only one that appreciates all your work but dont necessarily get too vocal about it !

Gaming communities on average, are mostly filled with foul, attention-seeking idiots who act like children. FAF, while marginally better than most, is still sadly no exception.

For every great thing you gave us, we collectively nitpicked its flaws, demanded more and more, harassed you with every inconsequential problem imaginable, and let our personal squabbles jeopardize the very continued existence of the project.

And yet you stuck with it for over a year, making FAF into arguably one of the best PC gaming clients I've had the pleasure of using.

For that, I doff my hat to you.

FAF is growing all the time. FA was released about five years too early, and it had a shit client that could only handle 100 players. Now most people who would be interested have a PC that can run FA, and thanks to Zep we have a client that can handle an effectively unlimited number of players. It seems that the number of active players is constantly going up, and this is awesome.

Although I have to ask, given that there's never more than 500 players online at any time, and I'm winning loads of 1v1s, how the f*** am I still only top 900?

I'm barely around at the moment because I'm way too busy with getting my master's degree in mathematics and because I also love to play other games, but still. FAF is a great project and I'll get back here when I've got the time (which is around Christmas)

No doubt, FAF is the best thing that happen to all FA fans. Its the one & only place to meet, thanks to who ? Ze_Pilot of course, Believe it or not community is really getting bigger (noobs or pros its not the point) ! Although im not fan of his some movements, everyone owes him a lot for building such a community driven project.

No "fund my life" projects.
Examples include projects to pay tuition or bills, go on vacation, or buy a new camera.
