there is no methode for this except testing it ingame but here are some "guidelines"

- all maps without any special scripts (means survival or something like ZoneControl) will work if

- they do not contain an elevation that goes significantly over the the normal elevations (they will just turn black ingame)
- they have no civilean buildings that are no longer contained in FA (there are only a few such as the BlackSunCannon)

The black area can be easily recovered by the user:
Go 'In-game' Options
Interface tab
Map Border -- OFF

If you play FA against the AI on any map that does not contain a set of FA markers the AI will immediately bitch...
'I'm blind - there aren't any markers'
All TeamPlayAI maps have a full set of FA markers
Search 'TeamPlay' in Vault
