however i just noticed that there is a "speech" option at the audio menu so if you do not care the "nukelear blablabla detected" you can just switch that one off

Edit: someone tell me how to include vids here

I wonder if the speech option does all speech content, or just the voice overs when someone calls in or whatever. Maybe I'll tinker with that setting and see what it entails.
[ youtube ]oUoZbjgqO6M[ /youtube ], except without the spaces. Is that the first video in a series then? Since it only has one song?

I think there was a multiplayer coop mod, but I don't know his completion stage, check the GPG forums.

About the "stop bugging me", I think it can easily be done, I can check when I've got time (it's probably a line of script to kill :)

I've heard of a coop campaign mod, and it would be awesome. Even if it just let two players control the same team (like Age of Empires 2 and Rise of Nations both allow).

If you do get a chance to look into the scripting, I would be eternally grateful. Those annoying "house calls" are the worst part of the campaigns, by far.

+1 to listening to that on youtube. :D

I don't mind the other dialog, and love hearing the mass explosions when my Monkeylords ruin someone's day. Otherwise I would turn off the sounds and listen to all kinds of youtube goodness. I think I'll investigate that youtube channel of yours, Col. Could be great homework music.

"Hey idiot, check your objectives."
"That base is still there."
"We NEED that tech ASAP, Commander."

Does anyone know of a mod to remove the annoying reminders, or make them less frequent? For Forged Alliance or standard SupCom?

Failing that, can anyone start me on the right path to making such a mod? For instance, which files control the audio you hear during missions? I'm assuming its in Sound->Voice->language->something, but I don't know which one or how to modify those files. Are they archives like the scd files? Where are the triggers that tell the game when to display those messages? They should be in the campaign scripts, but I don't know where those are.

Anybody know how to help?
