cybran. for two reasons.
1 the look is pretty cool
2 they play more dynamic than the other factions.

I play Cybrans or UEF, although on many maps UEF sucks. I love Cybrans for stealth and good weapons!

Yeah, I must say, alongside the Aeon my favorite faction is the Nomads. Primarily because the Nomads are essentially the assholes of the galaxy.

They have the singularly most annoying units ever. T3 TML, stealth shields, hovering LABs, hovering T1 Tank, EMP tank, EMP Cruiser, some Tactical Missiles track their targets, intel drones... It's like they are trying to aggravate the crap out of their enemies.

Poor poor aeon.... for the princess i once hailed....I used to see the way that no other person before me could see. the aurora is a blessing and curse depending on the user. you may be an abuser or a Loser. such powerful weapons the princess has at her disposal.

But honestly who uses those wretched aeon units? Dr. Brackman is the true prophet! you cannot shoot at what you cannot see. you may think you have air superiority until the swarm of fighters that lay silent in stealth blast you into air Inferiority. after the Bricks and gunships lay waste to your slow armies. The Cybrans T2 navy Cleans the air of alien waste and Uef garbage. Only after you have coward into your base that you will soon see HELL rain from the skies in a never ending firestorm of artillery.

So yeah i play cybran....Im loving the lore please keep it up

When supcom came out. There was myself and 2 friends who were interested in playing. The other 2 guys got the game before I did. One went with UEF, the other Aeon leaving me to play Cybran.
My cousin started to play after FA came out and so he ran with the Seraphim.

I've dabbled in other factions, but I pretty much play all Cybran.

Speaking of the Aeon, is there some sort of special sacrifice you have to perform for their T1 tanks so they aren't utterly butchered by any other T1 unit?

Once you stop holding on to some ancient ideals and then realize that rebelling against the system will only make you part of the system, you realize that the only way to survive is to follow the illuminate.
The best faction is Aeon, they give you all the tools to win, but when you make a mistake you get severely punished for it. When you lose you only have yourself to blame.
You have best late game tools. Teleporting SCU, rapid fire arty, flying donuts, paragon, eye of rhianne, double acu shield, GC is the best experimental in large numbers, missile ship, tempest.
You always can pull the game back with a mercy snipe. You can dominate air from T2 stage.
Your T1 tanks reward you for taking care of them and the scout can go on water and shoot.
The T1 arty removes enemy pd's from the field and is devastating when dropped on pgens.
If you lose with Aeon, it is your fault.
If you lose against Aeon you don't know their weaknesses.

i like aeon, but it looks like i'm the only one...

+ auroras are something completely different to the other t1 tanks, and they hover
+ shield disruptor, shield and flak can hover
+ harbs and obsidians have shields which will recharge after a while, t3 arty shoots while moving
+ double gun, double ras
+ epic airunits (swiftwinds and mercies)
- failnavy

In terms of weapons, I like them all the same:

UEF: Billy, Fatboys, Mavor
Cybran: ACU with mazer+cloak or mazer+teleport, Monkeylord, Soul Ripper (Why attack with one if you can attack with 20!), Plan B! Also: loyalists
Aeon: Tempest, CZARs (Throwing them around is fun even though the death damage is reduced).
Seraphim: Ahwassas!

As for the faction's story (click here, click here!), I love the Cybrans the most, especially because everything dotswarlock wrote about.
