You 1v1 rating is never reset. You are placed in a league every 3 months based your that rating, nothing more, nothing less.

Well, that is then even more confusing to me; is there any explanation on how all this stuff is connected ?

Reset doesn't mean every one got 0 rating.
They are placed in a league, that's all.

Thanks Ze_Pilot, now that makes perfectly sense as this is reset every 3 months or so.
BTW, what are the rulles to get a promotion?

It's based on their 1v1 rating at time they've enter the ladder season.

Hi,
I'm curious about how the small "tech" (scout, tech1,2,3,exp in chat lobby)icon is estimated:
I'm pretty surprized to see good rated people(~1900 global rating) with a scout icon and lower people (~1500 global rating) with an exp icon.
Al have a reasonable number of games payed (at least 60).
Can anyone explain this? It is not the majority of global ratings but I'm quite suprized on a few number of players.
