One step at a time.

From the replay you identify the many techniques that you want to master but its foolish to try and learn them all at once. Just pick one and practice it until you are satisfied. Then, rince and repeat.

Some wont have as big an impact as you would like but others are just pure gold. And of course some are easy to learn and other are just so hard.

Just keep it up.

He's trying to tell you to stop paying attention to your ranking and just focus on playing well.

- Don't do ladder 1v1 matches all the time. Play some team matches, see how your opponents and team mates deal with attacks, find out weak spots of your team mates and opponents team. It's a different kind of play, but I think it really helps for improving 1v1 play.
- Look at the live in-game replays of ZLO_RD, Napalm and ZaphodX. They cast while they play and this is very helpful. I learned a few new tricks from their casts, but also, I saw how even the best players can screw up, panick and lose.
- Play games for FUN. I mean, unranked games. The most important thing about this game is having fun. Okay, everybody likes to get points and improve their rating, but a fun game now and then takes your mind of the points and allows to just enjoy the game for what it is. You might even try something really crazy and if it works: use it in 1v1!

See you on the battlefield!

The key is to figure out what mistakes you're making. Replays can help because they show you what your opponent did differently from you to beat you.

Replays are overrated TBH.

Replays really aren't overrated. They are probably the most important part of getting better. Practice will only get you so far.
