It would be a bad idea to attract attention from SupCom IP owners.

They are all very well aware of FAF and supportive about it, so I wouldn't be worry about it :)

About the OP, yes, probably.

But doing thing take time and money.

What you can do :
- Talk about FAF around you.
- Retweet FAF news from the twitter account.
- Like the Facebook page and re-share news.

If you want to do something yourself, like coding a website, there is a contributor section in the forum.

You have to understand that we don't have the means of blizzard. The website alone is probably costing more than 100.000 dollars.

Shit dude, do you not realize the lack of a bloody filter on these forums?

Zep himself throws around some choice words now and then.

It's almost like this is a place for adults or something.

Good to know, I wonder if ZEP mind if I spread the word about "how honorable and just FAF community is"...

P.S. About it:

There is big difference between "giving You piece of code" nobody cares about and "giving community working product" which majority care about.

I still look forward for his ban. Unless of course this forum admins want to admit there are no rules and everyone can curse at everyone without limits.

Unwanted attention? FAF needs attention. There are 2 types of community:
- Small one (Group of Adoration),
- Big One (Real Community),
And ZAP already stated in one of my topics that "the more people the better for FAF", so I'm just suggesting possible solution.

I'm quite sure You will. Your level of conversation was low and aggressive from the very beginning but now You overdid it. And the one that act as "Bruce Allmighty" here is You. You think You can bombard everything because You have ego issues and by coincidence You managed to make something usefull for this game (one time, now You only act like a primadonna). And Yes I'm better then You in every possible dimension. Just a thought of comparing us makes me wanna puke. REPORTED!

I ask because all of you posts "feel" as if they are primarily focused of creating drama.

Now as for the points you've raised; I highly doubt anyone will want to advertise FAF simply because that would draw unwanted attention to what is already a strong and well functioning community. Not sure if your posts are well meaning or not but you tend to take to positions that such as:

"Hey, here is my point of view, you'll love it or i'm just going to do it anyway."

"Hey, you can't possibly know more than me as I've already figured out god and creation."

"Hey, you need to listen to me or I'll talk more smack so I can get a rise out of everyone visiting the thread."

Seriously... This is crap we'd expect from a child. Not sure if you are one or not but the tone and form of your posts would indicate such. For some reason folks like you feel that because they have an internet connection, don't respect EULA and live in country (insert your shite hole here) that everything and everyone is beneath you.

I'm thinking that if you continue on as you are, you'll figure out a way soon enough to get banned.

Cheers!

Resin

So my suggestion is to advertise FAF! First off it should be google advertised so EACH AND EVERY google search related to Forged Alliance or Supreme Commander 1 should have FAF-site link on top of the list. Second thing that can and should be done is set of forum signatures (images) linking directly to FAF so everyone here could use them on forums they use. And most important thing: there should some big Advertisement/Informative Topic on the Steam so players that still use Steam to look for matches come to us.

Another important matter that will bring more poeple here is site quality. Mankind is a very vision-based species so we like things to look good. Hell, we want everything to look awesome and beautiful. That's why I think our main site should look more like http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/ this for example. Great looks yet still great readability. We must send a message to the world: WE ARE THE SUPREME GAMING COMMUNITY! For the record it's called PR and we could use that.
