i have also experienced something like that - 4 spanish and one german that where clearly a team (which became obvious after looking at their past games)

but i didnt report it because if i cannot get them to listen when it comes to indirect teamkilling how can i make them understand some purposely playing bad?

- Because there are guys like me that sometimes play without sound because there is a glitch in the headphones. And then from one moment to another the ACU nukes the mate's base some time after issuing a list of commands to bring the ACU to (false) safety.
- Or someone just think his ACU can make it under the shields but he was just wrong. I dont know how many times this happened to me, perhaps a hundred. We all make mistakes.

Reclaiming the mates base without real necessity is really dumb and would be a reason to be banned. But you cant generally say it should be always banned to reclaim a base because there are situations where it's not nice but reasonable. The mate see that you will never be able to defend against attack on your base, so he just starts reclaiming your base so it's not totally wasted.

well i didnt know the situation i assumed the ACU just crossed the path of some engineers, thus blocking them from reaching their target.
what you said is still teamdamage on purpose. if i think if one would report this it would also get the guy banned for some days maybe.

Quick aside, it IS possible to accidentally tac a team mate.... I have done so twice. However it is so rare it is a non issue.

If this happens to you, send the replay number to the IRC mod group here on the forum. We are happy to help in this situation.

tell him that you know better the game, and you just want to help, but if he continues, think that you are playing w/out him...
