Another thing that should be addressed is the obviously bugged Aeon support air factory cost. It costs 1000 mass if you build it with a t3 engineer while all other T3 air factories cost >1500 mass and this alone makes Aeon air OP.

With 20 factories * 250 mass saved I can build 11 T3 engies to sit around doing nothing... in case I need an exp. T1 engies also eat unitcap like crazy.

Yep. So as you and Zep mentioned, it's a matter of whether those 248 mass spent is worth the versatility of being able to use the buildpower on something other than air.

As aeon/sera, t3 engies aren't horribly more inefficient -- you only need 3 t3 engies costing 320 mass more, and they can start an experimental on their own.
