Zock's wrong... Again. The costs were messed up. I fixed them and submitted the changes to PilOt, and he has already merged them with the base game code. They will go live whenever the next game update is released, which looks to be some time July or August.

I talked to zock about the different costs for air facs. He said it is just shown wrong in The interface. According to him the actual cost is the same for all air factories

Cause having E-storage on T3 air is a great thing, especially for the T3 air power house fraction. (Same with the mass discount.)

And the naval powerhouse (Sera) has similar advantages with their naval factory while the T2 navy powerhouse (cybran) has a T3 disadvantage.

Not saying we should keep it, but all of these actually have reasoning behind them. I mean, if one randomly cost 5 less mass, error. This, maybe intended but why?

I have it done here. If you want me to upload it as part of my tweak pack, or as a separate mod, just ask. As for full integration I guess we have to wait until the next patch.

Why would the TOTAL Mass and Energy costs shift? There's no reason for it. I think that the intermediate UI is drawing data from an old balance for some reason :/

I don't think that's a bug. It's just what it would cost from the current state of the factory. If you look at buildtimes they will also be adjusted once the factory reaches that tech level.

OK so I went in-game and manually recorded all of the actual costs. Discrepancies as follows:

Aeon T3 Support Air Factory upgrade: 490M/18211E VS 1000M/26182E and it also has 1600 energy storage which no others do.
Cybran T3 Support Naval Factory upgrade: 1:33 Buildtime vs 1:06 for all the others.

Is there any reason for this, anyone?

Have uncovered a UI bug. The displayed upgrade costs for icons displayed on uncompleted factories are higher than the actual. As in you select a factory, upgrade it, the UI changes to make T2 visible, the cost of the T3 upgrade displayed is higher than it should be, and is reduced when the upgrade finishes.
