But can we have the different levels of Ai constantly playing ranked?
Just to see where they end up?
Like one of each, playing one game an hour or so. Just for teh lulz

If you host those games on a PC you own, nothing's stopping you! :-)

It will something like "1400(+-300)" for new players (meaning that you are rated between 1100 and 1700).

Yeps, it doesn't mean much, but it's the same as really low ranked players now : Now enough games to be relevant.

But a least the number will not be so embarrassing :)

We will soon change the way the rating are displayed.

Ok, I really like how the rating system works :) I just started playing on your server after GPGNet was shut down. It was kind of a problem before I won some games, since I lost some of the first and my score was so low that people did not want me on there team. But after some ranked games and some 1v1 it is working very well :) I am very impressed with your server and lobby!

Some stats :

With our trueskill settings, the average level should be 1500.

And, there is in fact 65% of the players that have that rating (with a margin of 100, for those who knows statistics, it's under 1/5 of the standard deviation).

752 players are above average, and ... 1608 players under average.

Yes, they are 2x more "noobs" than pros : That's very good for the game !

That's also mean that the trueskill algorithm is working quite well..

(Be aware that your level is different that the rating displayed in the leaderboard)

Why is the level different than the rating in the leaderborard? And where can I see what level I am?

But according to the stats, if you can beat a Ai : Rush, you can play even match with 60% of the online players. So don't fear trying !

I foresee a lot of players when the beta is over. And another wave, like a tsunami if Galactic War is finished and polished :D
