So why it has lower single threaded performance than intel? Simple; because although higher clocked it has far inferior instructions per cycle performance (ipc) so that amd chips though higher clocked they still manage to produce fewer instructions per second (ips).

Simplistic I admit, but very helpful for a newcomer who wants to comprehend these matters.

I think you better go to some geek idiots forum and rant about this.

Funny how you start ignoring my point and just keep rambling on about Samsung's marketing.

Any marketing is based on embellishing stuff. You need a reality check. Wether u had problems with Samsung or not is irrelevant to the fact that it's a good brand with good products. I'm hardly a Samsung fanboy. You need perspective, or to be more mature. Not just on that, actually.

Take note and grow up, in your mind.

For sure. I was just wondering. As an average joe who doesn't buy computer magazines, all the Samsung marketing I see is about phones and TVs, and a litle bit about laptops maybe. Didnt strike me as more misleading than others (although I am disapointed by my Samsung oven :p)

They do motherboards right ? I've never seen a samsung add for a motherboard either. (not saying it doesn't exist, but it's not exactly in your face)

Asrock doesn't buy itself a different image through misleading marketing, Samsung does. That makes the latter worthy of getting thrashed.

The point is that you can't say that the image they are trying to set is plain wrong by using anecdotal evidence. Everyone knows marketing campaigns tend to exaggerate quite a bit, but you are saying they make crappy products based on your experience (which in statistics, doesn't mean anything.. at all). I don't think I've seen much Samsung marketing besides smartphones, tablets and occasionally tvs, though.

That's just your opinion, like Aurion said. There are alot of people that have bought samsung products and haven't had a single problem, just because you've experienced problems with them it doesn't mean they make 'alot of crappy products'. I've had 2 AsRock mobo's crash on me and have never bought them since, but I don't go screaming around the internet about howmuch crappy products they make because I had them fail on me.

Also, there is more Samsung than only Samsung Electronics (which I'm pretty sure doesn't 'just make crappy products with misleading marketing', you're such a reputation drone). I've never had something I bought from Samsung fail, so yes: that's how far your anecdotal evidence goes.
