Afaik steam will activate all factions with a single FA key as well.

No its not, that was only on GPG and still is, besides, FAF does not even do Vanilla (yet if they plan to have vanilla on there)
so u have all factions with just FA

FAF does not restrict faction choice... so all factions are available to all players.

Hi, apologies for asking a simply-tested question, but just curious and don't have FA installed anymore:

If a person has FA, and plays on FAF, does he have access to all factions? Or is the Sera-only restriction from GPGNet still in effect?
