No idea, but you should start posting your sound card and driver versions, ... you may find a pattern

I have same problem here. reinstalling twice dont fix that.

I cant listen nuke alert anymore.

I put my windows in stereo and dont fix....

Certain Sound Effects Missing In Game

Specifically the: "Strategic Launch Detected" or "Commander Under Attack" are what I miss, and maybe other ones that i haven't noticed. I do have some though, like the ping noises... and music seems to work fine as well..

Looked around, and my sound is on stereo, some people apparently had a similar problem w/ surround sound.
Tried reinstalling, thinking that I was just missing the sound files, didnt work

I think at one point I downloaded a mod with alternate sounds? Dont think i ever installed it tho, and its definitely not there now.

It used to work fine, the problem is im not sure when it stopped, so idk what caused it...
Any other ideas as to what I can try out?

BTW: its not an FAF problem, it also occurs when I start it without FAF...
