Because of the too big difference in level, I don't think this first game would have been close to interesting anyway.

if we partition by sums of ratings, then it will be possible for a player to play in more than one division.

-V- - I believe there are u1700 and u2000 categories in 1v1 WWPC tournament games, why not in setons? - I get the impression TA4Life wants more people to sign up for this, and I am merely suggesting a way to increase participation

There is no point wasting time playing a game where you are significantly outmatched and can't possibly win.

Lower brackets allow for everyone to have fun and compete. There are far more players at lower ratings than elitist Setons players.

This is the first week of the setons division, hopefully there are many more weeks in the future. Question about divisions will be dealt with in the future weeks.

Challenging for the first title of WWPC Setons champion we have two teams:

TAG vs ICKEN et. al.

Please schedule your game or play by Saturday 8 pm UTC. If this deadline passes then another team can form and can take the place of either team in this first final. If no game is played by the end of Sunday we may try again next weekend.

Notes: ICKEN et. al. can still pick up two more players before their game starts, please put those on your team by editing your initial post.

Once we have the WWPC Setons champion they will have to defend their title every week against new challengers that will be chosen each week via a lottery followed by a tourney, the format of which will depend on the number of sign ups.

The championship team cannot skip a defense, like the 1v1 champion can, since each team has 7 possible players.

Make sure you agree to rules before you play, otherwise the rules will be at the minimum as explained earlier in this thread.

There is little hope for divisions for a wwpc setons tourney for two reasons:

1. People don't sign up and argue about rules, even when they are given the option to choose whatever rules they want. But really, people don't sign up.

2. There are more smurfs on Setons than real players, I don't even want to begin thinking about solving the potential conflicts.

In the event that problem 1 is solved in the next few weeks we can think about how to solve problem 2.

At this point I am hoping TAG team demolishes the competition and it will be known for all time that they are the greatest Setons players when it actually comes down to getting together and beating another team.
