I have sort of the same problem, I cannot host a game, but instead of an error message I just get a black screen and my cursor is all that is visible. I can join games just fine. I deleted all my mods and I still can't host.

And by the way, you need to open a new thread. If you can't, read the red text on top. You will also understand what is missing so I can help you.

First i tried to remove all mods manually, this unfortunately did not help.
Then i removed FAF and FA completely including all user settings and re-installed it without any mods etc.
I created a new account in FA and logged into FAF with my existing Zeegoo account and I could host games again:P

Now here comes the problem and the easy fix:

I copied my existing game.prefs file back which contains my build template (still without any mods installed) and suddenly I could not longer host a game.
After re-installing the backupped original game.prefs file it worked again, however I must re-do all my build templates again :(
After that I re-installed all my mods and can still host a game, so my problem is solved.

To anyone who experiences a similar issue: try removing your game.prefs file and create a new account in FA.
It's usually located under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Game.prefs

Zeegoo

I hope someone can help me with the following problem:

I cannot host a game, once I try to create a custom game I get an error message in faf.
Everything else works fine, I can join games without issues.

Further information and what I tried so far:
- My pc is a 3770K with GTX660 and 16GB ram, windows 7 pro
- My pc's receives a fixed ip from my router and I set my IP as DMZ
- FA version 1.5.3603
- Tried disabling all mods (mod support fa, blackops icon support mod, ras notity, hotstats, advanced strategic icons, sorian ai pack, total mayhem, various extra maps)
- Turned off virus scanner and firewall
- In the end did a complete clean reinstall of my whole pc, after windows and the drivers I installed FA, FAF and all mods and still the same

The following message is generated in a pop-up screen in FAF (before FA even starts):

**FAF Username:** Zeegoo
**FAF Version:** 0.10.94
**FAF Directory:** C:\ProgramData\FAForever
**FA Path:** D:\FAF\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance
**Home Directory:** C:\Users\Pieter\Documents
**Stacktrace:**

Forever.log is attached.
Game.log is not even generated as the error occurs prior to FA starting.

You help is much appreciated!
If more information is required please ask.

ps. I found 1 more post with a similar issue but it never got a reply it seems:
