He can't have a dot. And he doesn't have one.
It's either :
Imbalanceone2277
Imbalance-one
or
Imbalance_one

One of these account is the right one, same procedure : reset password if needed.

It's either booba or tacosauce.

If he doesn't remember the password, there is a password recovery feature on the website.

Can the same thing be done for tacosauce?

Is there anything you can do about the login "tacosauce"? I think that's what's locked on his machine. I thought there was a way to "free" a machine or account or something. If not, is there any way for him to simply start over? Can we wipe out whatever is locking him out of playing FAF on his box? We have no problems with creating a brand new account.

Thanks for your help.

Is there a tutorial on how to use steamlink with FAF?

Use steamlink to avoid all kind of locking.

This isn't the first time this has happened. I realize he should remember his password, and I'm not sure what the deal is with his email, but when this happened before with another friend of mine, we knew his email had to be one of two addresses. We never got an email. Maybe your email system is crap, I dunno. In that situation, we could NEVER get his machine to work again with FAF. He eventually got a new PC with a new copy of Windows and was able to play with us again.

[rant] Myself and about seven friends get together for LAN parties about twice a year. This issue bites us with someone's machine every single time, and they simply can't play. Often, we just switch to another game. I realize that this is probably in place to prevent some sort of unwanted behavior by deviants, but just like DRM, when your methods cause regular, serious issues for perfectly legitimate users, you as a developer are doing something terribly wrong. Such a draconian and poorly implemented system that completely locks a player out of playing a game on their machine is ridiculous [/rant]

Now, what can we do to allow this person to play FAF again at some point on their machine?
