Yeah I wonder if its possible to set some kind of failsafe in case of this eventuality.

Like if Nickserv goes down, registered nicknames are no longer needed?

I dont know if thats possible though/how hard it is

Nickserv is bogged down/ non functional. ZeP will reset it in the morning.

He means there is no need for you people to post your logs, I found another topic on this from febuary. It's probably just the IRC channel being down. Probably will be fixed by tomorrow.
