The built in SCU Manager, does it not work for you? Does the mod have something different than what is in the new version? This has been integrated into to FAF for some time.

As for the Mass Fab Manger, I am using 'UI Mass Fab Manager FA V3' (folder named 'UIMassFabManager' in my mods folder, uid = "EF3ADDB4-9D34-437F-B1C8-440DAF896802") and that is working fine for me in the new version. Search for 'UI Mass Fab Manager FA V3' in the vault. I have always had to specify which mass fab's it was to control. I did not use the auto feature where it would look for mass fabs and add them automatically add them to the UI mod to turn on/off.

I am going through my own mini nerd-rage with this update, so please do not take the above as full support for what has been done with it. I was just going through my own UI mods and found the above working.

Hope it will atleast deal with confusion among players. I was just surprised with ckitching responce. That month is for testing patch and not for fixing mods. Only after the patch is final moders will release their fix.

The "test" has been out for a month, do not blame the dev team if you failed to test it and report any bugs you have experienced.
If you want more efficiency start by paying everyone who works on this game/forum/lobby and hiring people to do it, instead of complaining at people who devote their spare time preserving the life of this game with no recompense.

You are perfectly welcome to work on it yourself if you wish.

Nyx.

oh ok. Felt uncomfortable stating obvious. Turned out you already have smth.

Just saying that there is a difference between patches for huge games like GTA or World of Tanks or whatever, where it's natural to have problems with mods. But for FAF its just about 5 mods with relativly easy fix and you dont really have any deadline or urge to release.

cheers

We're making changes to the mod manager that'll allow us to blacklist broken mods.

Alongside this, in the future, mods will be required to list which version of FAF they require, so they automatically become disabled when we release a new update.

These changes together should make FAF more stable in terms of mods.

The most commonly mentioned mods that broke were either fixed before the patch went live (Notify), or shortly thereafter (EcoManager and Lobby Manager). Like Sheeo said, despite the fixed mod versions being available, there was no way for mod creators to push their new update to everyone.

Indeed. The real issue is there aren't easy ways for mod authors to make sure users stay up to date.

We're working on this. Until then, we can't really help the situation.

We did.
3641 has been in public prerelease as a featured mod for almost a month.
