If it helps, I'm pretty sure reclaiming everything on the map will make the problem go away.

Its enough to hear that someone is at least planning to look for it in this kind of not-getting-paid project Just gotta keep reclaiming more than before for those weeks

Much of the problem with the reclaim overlay at the moment is turning it off doesn't really make the perf drain go away.

This is something that will be solved in a hotfix as soon as someone (most likely me) gets time. Since I'm out of action until about next Thursday, we'll probably fit this in within two weeks.

You might want to use a UI mod to disable the reclaim overlay properly.

your (game.)prefs file is located in
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance
(just copy the path name into your file manager)

Definitely the amount of reclaim has affect on that issue. The more reclaim, the more problems appear especially when zooming in. I tried to switch off reclaim overlay and restarted game, but didnt notice any improvement on performance. If reclaim overlay is switched on and i zoom out while holding shift+ctrl zooming almost freezes. What do you mean with prefs file? Just ask, and ill do some further tests if required. At this moment its really annoying to play because it takes lot of time to wait a while after every zoom in/out for letting the game to finish the zoom order.

EDIT: Added latest pref file. Had to zip it cause extension prefs wasnt allowed.

It could be interesting to see your prefs file.

It would also be interesting to know if the maps you're having trouble with have lots of reclaim: the reclaim overlay is a potential performance suck that we're getting around to making better soon.

I started suffering performance problems with latest patch. Game feels laggy, even small maps have some ui lag when i zoom out and in. I didnt have any problems before patching, also bigger maps were working smoothly. I tried to set graphics to lowest possible level but adjusting them doesnt have any affect on that. I heard that some other people have noticed the same, so please reveal yourself if you got same problems as me.

I have i3 540 @3,1Ghz, 4GB ram, running win7 with directx 11. GPU radeon hd 5670.
