Works for me now! The FAF steam app seems to have recognized my registration now-- it told me my account was already registered when I went to register this time.

Turns out I didn't need to, so all is good at my and now! Thanks!

Update: I tried re-installing FAF, no luck.

He's also registered his desktop back at his place. So the current situation is this:

I am registered on my desktop.
He is registered on his desktop.
He is registered on my laptop.
I cannot register on my laptop.
I cannot login on my laptop.

I played some FAF last night on my desktop, so that's working fine.

(By register I mean link with steam and all that.)

Update: My friend has now got home and set up FAF on another PC. Still no luck for me on this laptop.

Steam Authentication Error

Hey,

So the other day I had a friend over and we both set up FAF on two machines, me on the desktop and he on the laptop. We tied them to our specific steam accounts so that when he left, I would be able to use FAF on the laptop (I'm travelling soon).

I tried to log into FAF on the laptop using my account (which was tied to the desktop), but it keeps saying:

"This computer has been used by a steam account. You have to authentify your account on steam too in order to use it on this computer: SteamLink: http:app.faforever.com/faf/steam.php"

Although I have already registered my account on steam, I tried to re-register with steam it a few times, but it keeps returning the same error.

My FAF name is DannyOcean11, his is Hiccupalot.

Can you help?
