Playing vanilla FA sucks.

I was able to change my name & password and use the same email to login.

Now I get the Forged Alliance failed to start error, after downloading a bunch of little stuff.

Could someone make me being able to play again, pls?

I Updated, and somehow now got FAF BETA on my desktop while Login and PW-Reset doesnt work (dont get E-Mail, Spam+Junk is checked). I Dont know what I fucked up.

Playername: C-Star
E-Mail: Should be the same as Forum E-Mail.

I have also tried the Regedit trick, which has worked for me in the past, but does not work now that I just installed the new beta. I think I accidentally overwrote the other FaF installation? Please help. I am locked out until this is fixed. I have NO chance of remember the original password I have set. And I have never gotten the password reset to work.

ALso, why can I not just make a new account? I try through FaF lobby sign in, but it just says username/PW incorrect no matter what.

Hmm, ok, solved my own problem. The password reset feature does work, but it landed in the spam folder.
Also, linking it to steam worked great and now eliminated a lot of problems. I'm glad that I can play FAF again, it is really my favorite RTS of all time, a game for the ages as some described it. Not many games are played that vividly and have such a loyal following after almost 10 years.
Funny enough, there were not even powerful enough computers really for the first 3 years of its existence that could really run it well, I used to overclock a dual core in order to run it better. Games this great usually endure quite long. I was shocked when I saw how how they dumbed down the graphics (and the game play of course) for SupCom 2: It needed less graphics resources than FA, which is never a good sign with any game.

So the password reset feature does officially not work anymore, I tried it with another e-mail address and same result: no mail is sent out from your server.
Could you please fix this? This must be preventing quite some players from participating in FAF, which is pretty sad.

I had the same issue today. Using the recovery function here in the forums directly worked for me.

Edit: But I stall can't log into the client using the credentials I can use to log into the forums

Edit2: This is really strange. I can change my password on the forums without any problems (and log in using that), but neither the password reset function in the client does anything nor can I use my credentials to log in. Keeps telling me: "Login not found or password incorrect."

my last name in faf was BuildMoreFlak and I went to change my password and then change my name back to WeedWhacker.
I haven't been able to log into FAF for about 2 weeks now. I hit reset password and then it say's user doesn't exist. so can some one either reset this or delete everything so I can start over or atleast get back in faf. I am stuck playing clash of clans
