I too am having the same issue, and I have been having this problem ever since I downloaded the FaF launcher.

Whenever I click the "Options" menu from the campaign lobby, my screen will freeze; however, if I ALT-TAB and go back into the game it will bring me into the "Options" menu. From there, though, the screen will still be froze but I can click the options. I know this because I can hear the sounds of me highlighting the buttons, but it seems like the UI just stays froze. If I click an option and then ALT-TAB out and then back in, the screen will update and I will see that I've changed that option. It wouldn't be so bad, but once I'm in the "Options" menu I can't go back to the Campaign lobby.

I also don't have any mods in enabled.

It's quite frustrating because I love what FaF has done with the game and really want to play the campaign, but I cant turn down the difficulty. I'm unable to finish the levels because I suck

ALSO: Just a little side note, the first FA campaign mission, Black Day, won't advance past the first objective.

I am also getting the same problem as Escadin: Everything in the lobby works fine, but when I try to open the options, the game freezes and a debug window pops up, this is the log from the window:

Sorry I can't give you the Forever.log, I have enabled it in the FAF client, but it's not being made in my FA folder

Oh yes! Right! Sorry, I forgot about the cat!

I was going to post the logs but then I got side tracked trying to figure out why the first coop map won't expand after first objective (cleaning mods, checking my brothers version etc.). The logs don't look promising to me.

When I start a new coop game I cannot access the option menu to set difficulty and all that because lobby freezes when I try to.
