However after some bagging of head on wall I managed to fix it! The problem was down to me using the Alternative Colours Mod......although I had disabled the mod when moving to FAF, when I last played a game on FA I had used a colour that was based on the mod and it looks as though FAF was trying to set that colour when creating the lobby which caused the error (which looking at game.log shows SetSolidColor failing in MohaData) so all I did was to go back into FA and set one of the original colours and it then worked.

Hope this helps anyone else who has had the same problem

I'm having trouble trying to create a Lobby, when i try I get stuck at the Connecting... message. I have tried the suggestions in other posts (changing the Port number, making sure it's pointing to the right SupCom) and have also reinstalled both FAF and FA (both completely removed) and to still no avail.

The only thing i can see (with my eye anyway) in the logs is that in the game.log there is a warning about it attempting to set a LazyVar's evaluation function to nil

Thanks in advance.
