All you need to do is allow FAF AND Forged Alliance through your firewall, BOTH private AND public networks, then restart FAF and join a game! The first boot up after applying the fix takes a while, should be about 1-2 minutes.

Also I believe that this problem related to new kind of lag in faf - when faf window is just lowaded and shown I am still unable to use UI (a few seconds) until "traffic blocked" window pops up or post load processes finishes correctly. Speaking about correct loading: about 9 of 10 faf starting goes to dust with "traffic blocked" error. Being bugged with blocked traffic faf still able to show hosted games but stops processing join/create lobby commands right after the "Updating FAF" window disappears (when it normally could open game) and in Window's Task Manager the Supreme Commander process not appears. Btw chat and storages like replays or vault works well.
Log says something about UPnP error, so I tested this without UPnP and yet had that error.
In my log file you will find two parts, which is started with "### Test {testNumber}" and ended with ""### Test {testNumber} End" so (I hope) it will be easier to work on that problem because I really annoyed to refaf so many times. :x

Until that, restarting your client and making sure nothing is making it start slowly should make it work.

system control -> system and security -> windows firewall -> advanced options
in there I had no rules for outgoing traffic flow from FAForever and Forged Alliance. Only had the rules in incoming traffic.
So on outgoing I added 2 rules:

right click outgoing rules -> new rule -> (default program) next -> search programm path -> next -> allow connection -> next -> next -> input name -> finalize
in C:\Program Files (x86)\Forged Alliance Forever select FAForever.exe
on second run in C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin select ForgedAlliance.exe

I have no idea why these were not in there already... I had allowed all connections for those programms back when I set up FAF and FA. Hopefully this fixes my other connection issues too.

please answer if this fixes your problems too, then I will hopefully remember to add it into the wiki :) (after asking for Wiki membership)
