If you are playing on LAN, all Games should use the same port number, and remove all Portforwarding related to SubCom from your router!

What you could do is first make sure everyone has same game version by logging into FAF and host a new game (everyone need to do this if you cannot join eachother's game).

After all got their version patched up to latest version just launch game with this shortcut:

Code:
C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe /init init_faf.lua

and use "Multiplayer LAN" option in the normal game menu.

I'm currently at a LAN and there's 10 of us trying to get a game going. We are experiencing a lot of issue with w people not being able to connect. It's always one or two people not being able to connect to everyone else. Roughly 4 months ago we did exactly the same and there was no problem with no other thing fixed but all of us setting up a different port to connect.

We tried setting up fixed ports, upnp on and off, using individual ips, even tried funneling through a vpn but nothing worked, and we're running out of ideas to try and fix this. Using the offline executables also does not work.

Does anyone have an idea what do to to fix this, or does the current version just not work on lan?

Thanks for any kind of suggestion,

Vampiricfish
