Set your audio stuff to stereo if they're not on that already
Just for the heck of it I went and got out my headset from 10 years ago, (I have no idea why I still have these) some cheap 10 dollar set with the 3.5mm jacks, plugged it in, and FAF worked flawlessly. So it must be something with my Logitech software not actually disabling the surround sound. I wonder why I never had a problem with it before... So I think you are right, it does have something to do with the stereo I bet. Thank you, I am pointed in the right direction at least now.
Add edit: So I tried changing my audio settings in my windows 'playback devices' and in my Logitech software, no matter what I do I cannot disable my surround sound lol. I pulled up a surround sound test thing on youtube and no matter what settings I choose my surround sound works perfectly.
Also, I cannot find anywhere to set it directly to 'stereo' either. In the Logitech software it just shows that the surround sound is off, and in the windows 'configure speakers' thing all I can do is uncheck certain speakers until only the left and right channel are allowed to play, technically it's still set on 7.1Statistics: Posted by zachyattacky — 04 Oct 2016, 03:04
