Okay, update: I seem to have fixed it by changing the compatibility settings for both FAF and Supcom executables to run in Win7 compatibility mode and as Admin, with DPI scaling left enabled. Only this specific combination works; I have no idea why. But at least it's working now.

Black Screen of Death with both clients

Hi all,
I have an issue where, upon joining or making a game/lobby, I get nothing but a black screen with the FA cursor.
I've tried deleting the game.prefs and I've tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling FAF. I've also tried the Downlord client and get the same exact issue. FA itself plays fine when launched directly or through Steam. I've done the MD5 verification in Steam's settings. I've tried all the available compatibility modes, and I've tried disabling DPI scaling (which has given me issues with FAF and Win10 in the past). I've tried running everything as admin.
Out of ideas.
OS is Win10 x64.
Any thoughts?
This game works absolutely fine on my other Win10 x64 PC.
