Wifi sounds like it could be the problem. Lag spikes are a common thing with wifi, getting something like a Netgear Nighthawk might help.

You could try a powerline solution.

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I'd gladly try with a cable or a powerline but I really can't use it in my case. I'll say again that all other games work fine on it, even FPS, so I don't see why this one shouldn't.

The problem occurs when I try to play with someone else and it doesn't happen all of the times. Single player is completely fine. Other mp games are fine.

The problem:
I get several hangs of the game/connection. Some may last for few seconds, some last up to 10-15 seconds. During that time the game is completely stuck and unresponsive, the same is reported by the other players in my same game. On the F11 menu under bottleneck I clearly see for how many seconds this is going on..

I got the game to play with a friend of mine, so most of my tests have been with him but today I had the occasion to have some more with other people and nothing changed.
On the official multiplayer of Forged Alliance there are no issues, game is perfectly smooth, as reported by Freshy.

I've noticed a very weird particular about all of this. I kept my eye on the ping with a CMD window open in the background. Basically when I'm in game ping jumps from ~15ms to ~200-300ms (which still wouldn't explain the 15 seconds blocks in game) but as soon as I alt-tab it remains constant on the regular value of ~15ms.
I'm connected via Wi-Fi and have no possibility to use a cable, I repeat though, all other games or net-intensive programs are perfectly fine.

I've tried several fixes/combinations on my side:
- rebooted/factory reset the modem
- rebooted the pc
- reinstalled FAF
- allowed TCP/UPD ports of FAF manually
- tried with or without UPnP on the client
- tried with the official port or with others
- disabled windows firewall

I'm really clueless at this point. Thank you in advance for anyone willing to help :3
Feel free to ask for more information.

P.S. Attached logs are from the test match with Jitsu.
