unable to connect in ladder

lately (maybe last 2-4 days?) when i try to connect to someone in ladder the game often doesnt launch and the client gives me the "error occured" message.
this happened when i in most of my last matches (Ti_Xi, Voodoo, (i think also jagged_appliance) i doest seem to matter who starts searching. (any more information needed?)
