ACU instantly exploded

So basicly, i just reached T2 upgrade, pushed my ACU forward to build a T2 turret, changed my mind and canceled, walked away and then instantly exploded. No ctrl+K used or instant suicide button. Is this a bug? Or did the enemy use some sort of cheat?
