This was not designed to be interpreted as hostile or passive aggressive. Hence why i expressed disappointment, rather than something more harsh. I'm sorry that this was incorrectly interpreted as such. I merely wished to express my frustration at the situation that is causing me to avoid playing FAF. I'm sure you can understand how this would be frustrating, given limited downloads per month being eaten away 22mb at a time every time a lobby is created.

In specifics, if i attempt to launch, or join a game using the FAF client, the launcher will be unable to recognize the version of the .exe as the logs describe, held within the path you specified. No matter how many times it downloads, or how many times i confirm it is the same file as previous, it continues to persist as a problem. I have since been playing offline games using the faf .exe in question, as that at-least keeps the downloads away. So i can be sure the .exe is perfectly functional. However this has in-fact impacted my confidence to play online, as people have previously kicked me for joining lobbys they wish to be exclusively for friends. I then must redownload the .exe to access a different lobby.

That is the most specific thing i can provide without further inquiries.

Do you mean the file C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe? And what do you mean by "game of any sort"? Which featured mod?

So i have a separate copy of this exe, just to make sure i am downloading it. Everytime i launch a game, of any sort, the updater deleted the existing exe in programdata, declares my system to no longer have it, downloads the exe, boom goes 11mb. i then get my menu for host, when i launch, the updater deletes it again, and redownloads, boom goes another 11mb, then lets me launch. I do not have unlimited internet, im finding FAF to be more trouble than previous patches.

I have uninstalled, and deleted programdata to ensure clean install, still problem persists. The updater is doing this because it cannot recognize the version of the exe it just downloaded. I do not wish to burn 22mb every time i have to play, please help.
