I'd still love to know if the non-ascii characters were in the username or in the password - it'd help us with debugging plenty.

Hmm...that non-ascii...I've already changed it but I dont remember non-ascii characters...maybe it was, if you noticed "я" charcter...there was long-long password with numbers and latin characters and strange login name...smth like xxxx/ xxxx/ xxxx/... and so on...(x-number or latin character). Hope I make something clear about this issue...

It's loading these from your config file. Could you open the 'Fa Lobby.ini' file (it should be in 'C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\ForgedAllianceForever') and look for the section that looks like this:

Code:
[user]
remember=true
login=<login>
password=<password>

Don't post the password bit, but tell me if the '<login>' or '<password>' have non-ascii characters.

(It also seems that some code is trying to use these to set up some links before we even log in - quite a mess. I can't wait to fix that.)

Oh! It works! I changed login and password on my own and it opens! Thank you, Wesmania! Your advice is really helpfull! :3

I'm looking into it right now. Do you have non-ascii (like cyryllic) characters in your username or password? It looks to me like the code is trying to format a string using username & password and fails to handle a 'я' character.

Thank you for reply, but I dont get it a bit...my username/password where? It's totally not in faf because it didnt even let me input these username/password...it opens with error.
