If it's indeed a problem with the lobby not connecting you in the best way possible, then you'll be happy to hear that we've been working on improving it using webrtc - it's working and roughly tested, so we might start some more public tests of it soon.

Hi,

I have recently returned to FAF but in some games I cause unplayable lag. I have only had the issue in team games. I cant find any obvious pattern but the lag is present the second the game begins. It will stutter as I load in and then I get connection bottlenecks to every other player and the game stutters every few seconds.

Every port on my network is forwarded to my fixed IP.

I have tested my connection immediately after the game and get ~20 ping 150mbs down and 10mbs up so I don't believe it is caused by that. My PC is well above spec and some games and all replays [Setons] I can watch/play smoothly well into the hour plus mark.

The only clue I have discovered so far is that I get very high cpu usage from the lobby during the games that I lag and it maxes out one of my cores.

Any help is much appreciated, its hard too see whats happening without wrecking lobbies. [Very sorry for any games I stopped, thought I had fixed several times but problem is random]
