Yeah you must have used some old version of the code that didnt have the minimap shader fix. The shaders get precompiled and cached so even after you use fixed modern code, the cached version is still use.

Solution is to delete cache:
C:\Users\yourUsername\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\cache

Sounds like you have been using some dodgy mod. Wonder what that could have been

And if you want to fix your mod you need to use FAF's cartographic shader.

Background of minimap black

Hi,

My minimap a few days ago has a black background, I dont know what caused it. Basically it displays units and mex points but the background is black. It has the same kind of image you would have if you disable Cartographic in main view. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix?
