please post a full client log, maybe its not the same error then in april ?

This error clearly means, you don't have access rights for this directory:

Code:: PermissionError: [WinError 5] Access is denied: 'C:\\ProgramData\\FAForever\\cache\\patchedFile'

You can try this:
1. Un-install your FAForever client.
2. The most important step: Delete manually the folder 'C:\\ProgramData\\FAForever'
3. Re-install FAForever and try again.

If you are loged into windows as normal user, please NEVER start FAForever as admin. This will cause this error instantly.

You can also search the forum with the keyword 'PermissionError' to find additional informations.

Have you attempted to run the client as admin? You shouldn't do that. Try going to C:\ProgramData\FAForever and manually setting permissions to your current user.

Every time I try to launch anything I get this error message -
