If you've previously helped out Xinnony test a lobby update, make sure you delete any .scd files he's given you to test. So far known filenames used are 'loc_RU.scd'.

Having this in your gamedata directory (Either FAF or base installation) will cause this problem.

Try put your key in Steam and download only Forged Alliance with Steam.

Supreme commander gold edition. It was a combo pack that includes FA.

From best buy.

if I bought the gold edition from steam would I have same issue?

teslaaaa you have something that's hooking into your lobby. We can tell this from this line:

Code:: info: Hooked /lua/ui/lobby/lobby.lua with /schook/lua/ui/lobby/lobby.lua

It's complaining about the resulting files becoming too large in terms of top-level definitions.

You're not the only user to have reported this, so could you tell me exactly where you got your base game is from?

just went back and uninstalled faf, then removed everything in C:\ProgramData\FAForever . Reinstalled, same problem.

I've had this same issue since update also... finally got mine back after deleting all files in MODS and MAPS, and the .config file also... I too reinstalled it all from scratch with no luck so something in those folders was the cause...

also I notice on my network connection, when I try to host or join a game, I get zero network activity.

what is the "featured mod"?

Yes I launch a standard game in find games.

I get black screen, console still works, and alt-f4 works, but no game shows up in the lobby.

I deleted all files you suggested, no change

I uninstall faf, SC, and FA

reinstall all again, no change

this all started with last update.

Hi, try remove :

Code:: c:\users\cody norton\documents\my games\gas powered games\supreme commander forged alliance\mods\phantomn_1_0.rar

And you have files in /maps/ (it's not normal) !
Removes all the files in :

Code:: c:\users\cody norton\documents\my games\gas powered games\supreme commander forged alliance\maps\

If not work removes (or backups) all files and folders :

Code:: c:\users\cody norton\documents\my games\gas powered games\supreme commander forged alliance\

And this file :

Code:: C:\Users\Damien\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Game.prefs
