Have you played a SupCom Vanilla game with the current install that is on your PC right now. If you start SupCom Vanilla on your PC does it ask you to create a user name after the starting movie. If so, this may be your problem as the game needs to create a Game.prefs file.

If the above is true, create a user account, start a skirmish game against the AI, start a game, get nostalgic about the UI, and End the game (NOT Exit to Windows). You need to end the game so that it goes back to the main menu as it is at that point any changes you made in your game.prefs file (i.e. creating a user account and setting up all that is needed) are saved. From the main menu, exit to windows and see if you have issues with the map editor now.

I've added the log displaying the error message as an attachment.

Can you help me with resolving this error?

All editing must be done in that folder, so you will have to copy any maps you downloaded from the vault into this location.

What map are you trying to work with and what exactly are you trying to edit?

I have not managed to solve the error where patchnotes can not locate SupremeCommander.exe when it is given the correct directory thought. Although This is steam version of supremecommander, so the version should be the newest anyway and I don't think updating supcom with patchnotes matters.

Can you help me with resolving this map editor error?
