This indicates you had an issue with the patcher. If this happens again, can you post your forever.log?

i had same problem, with connecting... i noticed that i was useing some sort of scripted setons map accidentaly instead of normal one, i thought that it was my problem so i didn't report anything, it did fix itself as soon as i changed map

Thanks. I presume you have german localization enabled? Can you try setting it to english and see if that makes a difference?

I'd like a copy of loc_DE.scd as well, if you would.

the game language is set to english,
if you mean something else by localization, how can i change it?

similar problem, can't host or join any game

this problem suddenly occured after a game with the lobby 2.7 patch, but i could join this game, and also host with this patch before.
tried cleaning up faforever/gamedata and redownloaded the files, did not help

logs gained by hosting offline and cleaning up the console before attempting to host skirmish

Have just tried joining a game after about 30 attempts, and now i have managed to connect successfully without issues, I have not rebooted, not changed anything. Weird but wonderfull now its working!.

Ill leave this open just incase it is something within the programmers control to fix if need be!.

Unable to join/host any Games

I have had this issue before and after a day it suddenly fixed itself.

I join/host a game, i see the ingame lobby with a "Connecting" screenand a "Loading" text top right of the game lobby. I can type in the chat, but i cannot close the connecting screen to x in, i am left without choice but to close the game down by hitting "Abort connect".

I have tested proxy/ports all ok. Have also checked the file integrity of the game via Steam (no issues).

Logs provided.
