a blown capacitor could definitely be the reason you are losing connection for very short periods of time, though it may as well be something else.

I did just learn that I have a blown capacitor, and plan on replacing it soon. Do you think that'd be a reason why this would happen?

Get off wifi, do whatever it takes or stop playing FAF online.

I blame the latency on having a cheap router over a wireless connection, personally. But this would only serve to slow the games down, not end them, entirely.

Is there any other information I should provide? As I said, the replay.log gives me problems when I try to upload it, as if it were too big.

I locked your previous threads only because you didn't provide any logs.

This one provides enough information that we can tell your entire internet connection is dropped. The client appears to be unable to reconnect to the proxy, which explains why you will drop to only those players that you were proxied with--I'll be looking into this. The rest of the game should be able to recover from a short disconnect.

Generic advice:

Are other devices on your network also losing connection? If so, check your router. Is it overheating? Does it need maintenance or software updates?

If it's not your router and your machine is otherwise fine (You can exclude this option by trying to connect it to another network), you should contact your ISP and tell them about your intermittent failures.

I am spontaneously disconnected from some players in the middle of a match, but not others, within the same match. I can still talk to them, while it shows the in-game screen that shows when players disconnect from a game, and gives you the option to kick them. Upon closing the game, the FAF client gives me a comment window that says something to the affect of : TCP error: host disconnected, and I have to restart the client to reconnect to the FAF servers.

I know this isn't an issue on your end, but I've made two tickets about it and haven't actually gotten any advice on how to fix the problem. Is it to do with my router? Port forwarding? My firewall? Is there a way I can check? What can I do to fix this problem?

tldr; sheeo pls don't auto-lock thread, I need help and I miss playing on FAF :(

Also, I'm having trouble uploading the replay.log file. It's only about 47MB, but I can't even open it in notepad, I have to use Notepad++. Do you need replay.log?
